All ships should have 'Gadget ports' And we need items like ship lights (to see astroids and stuff in the dark places), rear view cameras (so you can fight bots while flying in reverse without killing yourself..), on board news computer (for recieving the news from your ship), and scanners should go in this category as well :) I know theres a post under me that talkes about Device ports.. but i've got ideas that count too! :D
