I can't find a clear thread that deals only with new suggestions for the above and I know there is a lot of ideas floating around for new equipment, etc.

I recommend a piece of equipment that when activated will send out little bots from your ship to pick up floating loot. This because if you've been botting for an hour and the haven't had a chance to pick up your booty because you're relentlessly being attacked than you can't make as much money from combat. It could take up a large or small slot and be made available after lvl 3 or 4 trade. It would certainly make reclaiming loot less tedious.

Interesting idea, it should be heavy though, so that people don't run these standard. And the probes should move slowly, i.e. you'll be able to fight while they're there but they're not going to get it quick (to keep these from stealing other players cargo).
