I have been in several situations (all of them in heavy-ish ships) where having someone else firing my weapons would have resulted in me not losing 12,000cr of hardware in a rapidly expanding fireball. I'm certain this has been suggested before, but could there be added a secondary turret onto existing ships? It would (I think) be a good way to keep everyone from yelling "We want capital ships!"
