One mining XP number per session

Why dows my hud say
Mining +6
Mining +6
Mining +6
Mining +20
Mining +20
Mining +6
Mining +20
Mining +20
Mining +20
?
(see how cluttering that is?)

I'd want it to say nothing until I turn off the beam, and then have it say
Mining +124

To destinguish between the different XP gains for the diffenrent minerals they could have a "difficulty rating" or "rarity rating" or whatnot.

Yeah, I like this suggestion. Like it is with selling cargo. If I sell one unit at a time, I might get spammed with little 2xp messages. But if I sell 'em all, I can get a single 64xp message.

Well it alows you to tell which act gave you how much experiance so you dont have to do math when playing a game which can get quiete annoying.

I prefer it to tell me incrimentally.

The mission computer screen is primarily for info about exp. gains, at the moment, and all info it displays that might be displaced by such output can be retrieved easily enough by sending a message to the mission computer.

However, on countepoint, having an agregate lump makes it impossible to tell what exp. each ore is worth, unless you get 100% of that ore, or wish to do highly inconvenient analysis, especially when miming asteroids with more than two types of ore.

Good point. I'd still like to have less clutter in the mission computer, though. Maybe something like if I'm mining a 'roid w/ 3 types of ores, I get 3 Mining XP messages when I stop mining, like
Mining +6 x32
Mining +8 x10
Mining +4 x6

Mined 6 X ore at 6 exp.
Mined 12 Q ore at 4 exp.
Mined 3 R ore at 10 exp.
Total exp: 114 exp.

I would rather like to have a configurable chat filter where you can decide what messages to show and in which chat window to show them.
