The new targetbox makes me sick.
okay, this is odd, but the constant phase shift of the new targetbox makes me feel decidedly ill once I'm inside a combat situation.
its the fact that it keeps changing the size, and keeps moving around as you rotate your ship.
Also, in that it removed all sight on where an opponent ship is moving, what its direction is and the little needed focal point of stability in a fight.
Can the previous box PLEASE be reinstituted for opponent ships?

I vote 50%, the shifting box makes me a little discombobulated too. I do like it better than the old one though. Could it just be the max size of the models profile instead of scaling?
It looks cool but it is a bit distracting. I still feel like I can judge the direction headed pretty well from the lead-off.
How about a menu option to choose your type of targeting box?

Well, I love it for asteroids and stable items, its just that when its on a ship in a dogfight, you rotate and angle a lot, and suddenly it behaves more like a morphing pattern on screen than a targetting box.
The old one was stable, the same way no matter what way your ship was rotating/facing, and stayed in a predefined way around the target. Even if you don't see the target (this is very often the case) you see the box, and the box would move in an easily seen way.
