It would be really nice to be able to see the names of what we have in cargo, or the name of the cargo that has been jettisoned... It will not only help those with very small cu to check if yes or no they want to get what is in front of them in space, but it will also let the player be more at ease with some mission where you never know without asking, which bot drop which components...
(like when you have a mission asking for scrap metal)

To have the icons as ID is nice, but doesn't help much if you don't have a color printout of the cargo under your very eyes!
