Music Controls
May I suggest the following change to the Vendetta music player?
Playmusic becomes:
music play <file or playlist name> <track number>
and can differentiate between .m3u playlists and .ogg files, and treat them accordingly.
If a track number is specified, the game skips ahead and starts on that track.
The following commands are added
music pause
music next
music prev
music default (to restore standard game music)

I'm going to make this suggestion again: is it possible to give Vendetta the ability to control 3rd party music players like iTunes and WinAmp? I don't have any of my music files encoded in .ogg format, and I really don't want to spend the time converting all of them when iTunes plays them just fine. Just the ability to play, pause, and go previous and next track would be nice.
It's in there already. Alt-tab takes you to your graphical shell of preference, where you'll have full control of the music player of your choice.
you know ... wouldn't it be possible to write something that reads error.log for a a command and sends the corresponding action to <audioplayerofchoice>? :)
It's been done in AppleScript. It could easily be done in Perl or Python for xmms. I'm not sure what Winamp's API is, but I bet it could be done with that pretty easily too.
It's kinda off but sometimes the music plays with tiny interruptions (let's say every third millisecond is a "break"), is it my codec's bug, or that of the game?
