Corvus No FIre?
Bug or feature that Corvus now has a no-fire zone? Personally I think it makes much more sense that Corvus only attack you if you hurt the station or their own ships, and they don't care about anyone else.. That would at least make the Corvus sectors more dangerous (as they were before). As they are right now they are no more dangerous than a nation home sector!
There really does need to some sort of no fire zone at the Corvus stations, otherwise they will be losing an awful lot of cargo that they are fronting on trade missions to station campers. Realistically speaking, they will protect their home turf because it would be very bad for business if they didn't.
I think Icarus' point is more important to game play than it is for Corvus to protect its traders. I imagine they rely on the black market for the most part anyway. There are enough protected stations, let's have some variety out there.
Corvus would go broke if they didn't protect their business interests. Who would want to trade with them (even for black market items) if they know that they will be ganked mere feet from the docking bay?
*This probably should be moved to suggestions.*

They would be multi-billionares dealing only in illegal fast charge batteries.

In terms of game play there really needs to be some sort of Port Royal pirate haven where there is no real law and anything goes. If not Corvus space, then where?

Ah, but what are thier most profitable interests? It may be the pirates who appreciate the loose sector rules. Corvus may have to pay a high price for standard goods to be delivered in such a rough port, but they make a higher profit on thier illicit sales. I say it evens out and it's in thier best interest to be black market friendly.

Well, if a bunch of trigger happy pie rats want to gank each other in Corvus, who am I to stand in their way? Many traders will probably avoid the place anyway (except possibly to purchase an expensive level 2 FC).
