view target wireframe mesh
I rember back on the day, the game "wing commander" .. when you had a selected target you woudl see it's mesh under the name (liek you see your own ship mesh) .. and as you hit it it would show the damage on the enemy (just as it shows on your own ship)
Hope the dev. team cn conssider adding this :)

it was in, and taken out again due to issues with cheating. The wireframe mesh allowed you to see hidden stations, wormholes and players out in space.
I believe he refers to when you target an enemy, a wireframe of his ship appears somewhere on your hud, and as you damage the enemy and such, the wireframe colors to show where you're damaging him. Kinda like the schematic of your ship on the right hand side of the screen. Things like this have been implemented in the X-Wing series as well.
A wireframe model of your target is something that was suggested in this thread about hud improvements: http://www.vendetta-online.com/x/msgboard/3/6191

I'd be less interested in the actual wireframe and more interested in seeing a measure of the target's strength... like, how many turrets it has and perhaps its armor rating. A bot with 4 small turrets and 10k armor is much tougher than one with 1 small turret and 2000 armor, and not everyone knows the strength of all the bots by heart. Especially not newbies.
