the big S on the radar is actually the exact dockingplaces. Good for navigation up close.

Why so tight:
to require some skill from the dockers.

oh my god, i can't believe people actually say it's difficult to dock in vendetta.

when you have the chance, download Elite and fire it up in one of emulators. Leave the station and try to dock. Only after docking in Elite post here.

heh take a look at the screenshots and look at the stations, see those little white squares? those were the docks and they were no bigger than a bus :P

Here's a tip. When docking, start a ways back, turn on flight assist. Point yourself at the opening and go. With flight assist on, you're going to fly in a straight line wherever your crosshairs are pointed. You can't miss. The only time recently when I damaged myself on docking was by going too fast with a bit too high latency and smacking into the back wall. Oh well.

Yeeah.... don't try docking with Flight-Assist off... bad idea...

I usually don't have trouble finding them. You should have seen it before you were able to dock with stations. People were ramming themselves into fake docking tubes.... Quite funny.

I once just missed with flight assist on... I was coming in high. but that was a fluke. It really isnt hard, and I felt stupid afterwards.
