Voice Chat
Here's a random idea that might be impossible to implement, but make a whole lot of sense for this game.
Voice Chat
Not global... but group, or guild... Dunno if this'll mess up the net code. Would make executing group stuff so much easier, as you don't have to take the time to talk

There are programs like teamspeak that can do this, but still, it would be good to have an intergrated system. A possible downside is the server load tho.
I'd like to see an integrated voicechat program in the clients. It could run seperate from vendetta but be controlled by console commands from inside the game. That way the "host" of a chat is not guildsoftware, but one of the players. The bandwidth hit is client side, so only people who can afford the bandwidth to use it are affected.
A set of commands that functions like the group commands could control it. (/voice create;invite;accept;leave)
Obviously however this is something for "down the road" as our devs have lots of other stuff to work on at the moment.

thought this needed a bump, this is something that xbox has as well as ps2 now I think. The tech is there, just needs to be implemented.
Love the Idea!!!
Fantastic. ! !!
If not these Devs, then someone else, anyone Please!!!
I would love to see a _Cross-Platform_ Voice Chat App

This has come up several times (and not saying this to scold, however) and each time a TeamSpeak group gets together. Perhaps those folks could come forward again?
No TeamSpeak for Mac.. :-(
I've heard in passing that the sound system is such that a voice chat system could be built, but as it stands today, there is little time to spare on such things until the game itself reaches a state of completion.
with games such as this, there really is never a completion, but I know what you mean. Still would be nice to be able to do it some day though.
