I don't care if it's been suggested before, so don't try annoying me by saying, "o thats been suggested before, run a search so their aren't (ain't) duplicate posts..."

If this game is futuristic, which it is...I would suggest implementing an AUTOPILOT....I'm sure if warp drive, space travel, "tachyon blasters" and other futuristic things exist, than somwhere along the lines, somebody would have figured out an autopilot....not just i click on sector and it will take me there as long as i look at the screen and wait till i'm far enough away and then hit enter, but an autopilot that will engage my warp drive for me..now that would be a treat, i might even be able to get some work done if i didn't have to always wait to hit enter....it's not like its cheating, i could very easily get shot down(blown up) by a pirate along the way, there is still ion storms, and variable obstacles like asteriods that my fancy autopilot can't account for, but man, I'm sure this autopilot would exist in a world like Vendetta...

Normally, I wouldn't get annoyed, but in this particular case there's a similar thread six theads down. Use that one instead if you have more to add to the discussion there (which cover woth pro and con nicely)

So you basically want an IRC client overlaid on a long cut-scene of a spacecraft flying various directions, the occasional space fight, and the station interface.

The argument "They would have it in the future" doesn't hold up on its own most of the time. And I would prefer actual content additions over added convenience..
