There should be some kind of black market where you could buy big badass weapons. Somtimes there is something reasonable to buy, sometimes you will find only crap. You cannot set it as homestation. So each time you die, you have to travel far to get them again. And Of course they would be very expensive.

Welcome down to Odia, Sedina and Bractus, the faction you are looking for is Corvus, and they have a tendency to sell you items to hideously inflated prices, but with lower license requirements than the rest of the universe.

You can home there, and they used to pay a nice price for special ships, but appears not anymore.

Currently they are about 3-4x more expensive than normal items. ;)

Other than the "can't home there" how would this be different from the current blackmarket of Odia?

And since Corvus hates just about everyone only a few people can home at their stations.

What about weapons not available on other stations? Something you only get there, something better?

Well how about narcotics, buy them from the Corvus area for around 5,000 credits, coz they don't care so much, and sell them in nearby systems for at least 8,000 credits..

Something else that (I think) would be cool... Blackmarket licenses. Costs mucho grande dinero, only requires 90% normal license XP (less if you have good Corvus standing?).
