I havent been in the suggestion forum yet so I dont know if this has been suggested before or not, but I believe the BUY tab to purchase items from stations could use a little upgrading. Right now it works, but as the game grows there will no doubt be more items added over time. To make it easier to sort throught them it would be helpful to add subcatagories in the BUY menu. For instance, a Trade Goods tab, Weapons tab, and Ship Accessories tab repectively. Trade goods would naturaly show all the tradable goods. Weapons could have two catagories, one for Small and one for Large. Ship Accessories could display batteries, repair mod, and ship engines when they are added. These are just a few examples off the top of my head. It just seems a little cluttered right now with everything thrown in all together.

I do recall this being mentioned at some time previous; however, it must have been so long ago that I cannot for the life of me recall when exactly it was.

This is a very good idea and would possibly be even better to implement it as such:

{Buy}Sell|Repair|Ammo|Ship|Cargo|Weapon Groups|Character Info|Missions|
|Ships|Upgrades|Trade Goods|Weapons|

Under each sub-tab the following would be sold:
Ships: The current "Buy Ship" interface.
Upgrades: Ship-class-specific engines* and generic batteries.
Trade Goods: A list of all available cargo units and prices.
Weapons: A list of all available weapons and their respective prices.

May I also suggest;

"Map" would be better labelled as "Navigation" due to key bindings while piloting ship!
