This is definitely not a high priority suggestion, but I think it would be cool if players could "e-mail" each other in game when docked with a station. Maybe there could be a "Subspace message" tab or something.

It would be nice to be able to send messages to people when their not online.

I think if you are buddies you can leave messages for each other.
