It would be cool if you could double-click on a system in the Universe map to zoom into the sector view for that system. This would speed up laying in a course to a destination in another system because you wouldn't have to first select the system, then move the cursor back to the zoom button. It might not sound like much, but that kind of time savings can be handy when you are dodging asteroids, bots, pirates, etc. or trying to complete a mission within a certain time limit.

I've been thinking this too. Multiple ways of doing the same thing makes it much easier for everyone to use the menus. Not much use is made of the right mouse button, in the menus, either. Maybe double click to zoom to system, right click to zoom out.. I know they know this, but the redundant, every-30-seconds activities should be as streamlined as possible or they become increasingly annoying as the days go by.

Maybe with the multi-in-system-jump course plotting that Andy is (supposedly) coming up with, we'll get some other tweaks like this to the nav menu.
