Stike Force Seekers and faction.
Ok, these things are just plain silly, I have no problem with the concept of exploding seekers, its another way to slow down the pirates, but having that count as KILLING one?!?.
I shot a bot in NS3 space around a station (wasnt paying attention, silly convoys :P). I got +5 standing from NS3 for killing the bot, then got told to leave their space immidiately because i had killed someone under their protection. As i started to turbo away, a pair of seekers blew up on me, and it counted that as ME killing THEM. My standing with NS3 took a permanant 300 point dive (approx).
I dont mind loosing the ship, that was a boneheaded mistake on my part. but loosing 300 points of reputation because a bot suicided into me?
I think the reputation hit from killing a seeker inside monitored space needs to be set to 0.

or to some minor amount like 15 - 20...
Good point.
Another mildly unsettling thing is that the seekers have names just like the regular strike force bots. Might need to change it to something less "human," or at least make the names Japanese :-P.

Make 'em all [seeker] Genin, and I'll be happy.
