Basically, I'm tired of people making threads complaining about how the graphics look like crap.
So can we default to max. textures, max resolution, and max distance and scene detail in the next patch please? I just get the feeling a lot of them don't quite realize that they can tweak their settings.
I predict that this suggestion will cut down on "the gfx suxxorz!!11one111!" comments by 47% at least!

Eh, I tend to think that the current default settings are a bit conservative... unless I just have a really good vid card for 32 MB
At least they increased the default resolution up from 640x480. I could hardly read the text, and took me a while to realize that it was just the resolution.
Actually, thinking about tweaking the graphics, why are there two buttons to edit display settings? Is one DirectX/OpenGL and the other is just the game? I would prefer just one screen of visual settings. Sorry if this is off topic : /

Ok, we can do an informal survey here:
Video card/ram vs. game settings vs. cpu and find the best medium.

Slight choppiness around stations if I turn FSAA and anisotropic filtering way up (4x or greater).
