The border patrol mission should be a -real- border patrol. IE: First it sends you to Metana E-1. Then to E-2. Then so on and so forth. It might or might not randomly spawn Serco bots. If you finish the loop, you get a completed mission.

back on topic, yea it would be nice if it was real border patrol however no one person can do the whole border of any country and doing that would be time consuming and dangerous(too much for a newbie). Right now it is more of a chance to go PVP, and that is not too great, so i think that if it had you monitor say 1 system at the different warp points and possible "places where they could be hiding" then it would make it more reasonable and make it more like patroling an area. acutally my idea needs to be tweaked and i dont have the brain power left to do it so i will just leave it up till i regain some lost brain power.

I don't propose that one person patrol the whole border... merely that they do more than 1 sector.
