Maybe its possible to use the throttle in physics mode as acceleration .

Problem is, it'd become arcade mode then. :/

I only want the acceleration, like w-key, throttle on i get acceleration, throttle off no acceleration but also no brake.

Set the throttle mode (in the Joystick tab of the Controls screen in Options) to accel mode. It works very well, thankya.

Maybe the throttle on a joystick could be "Sirius inter-stellar radio volume" and you could get reruns of the Howard Stern show...

Thx for the tip roguelazer, didn't noticed that one. But its a bit tricky to get no acceleration in physics mode (a bit too much and i fly backwards)
