Enemy Strength Meter
One thing i would like to see put into the game is some kind of indication of how strong an enemy is. As a new player i have no idea at all what im up against, which can be kind of frustating when you want to try to fight something new and it turns out to be impossible and lead to insta-death.
Personally, I just find it kind of fun. I like learning the hard way.
But I could see a 'Danger Rating' put next to the names or something.

How would the "Danger Rating" be calculated? Kills? PKs? Levels? Levenshtein distance of their name from "Icarus"?
EDIT: Oh, he meant bots. But seriously, death isn't that big of a deal. And you can just ask about it in general chat anyway. =P

This is already in. Locking on to targets displays the strength of the enemy in the Target area of your HUD in graphical bar form.
i believe what he is asking for is more like a numerical addition to the Bar itself so that you can tell that "oh this bot has 5x as much life as the last bot so it will be harder." I would actually like to see such an addition to becuase i often have very low health and same with the bot and would like to know, "if i keep fighting can i win" because as it is now the life bar is the same size for all bots, just the percentage decrease with each shot differs from bot to bot. For a noob i would assume that causes confusion because they see a orun and a APU Tech-5 with the same size life bar(and in many other games either the number is displayed or the life bar is longer for harder enemies) and thinks hey i can kill this apu too lets try.... and i think u will all know how that ends.
back to the point, adding a number like 5000/6000, or like our hull even a percentage would be good( i would also like if our hud displayed the hull strenght left as a fraction instead of a percentage but that is prefrence and not that big a deal because you can just estimate)

Easyer would be a level system.
Like an Orun controller level 1 enemy
Dentek controller Level 2
Artemis collector level 3
Maybe linked to pilot combat level skill or something so if your a level 2 player you will know better then to attack a level 6

Uh, no Darthmonkeyman. He's not asking for a lifebar, he's asking for a difficulty meter. How tough a bot is to kill.
Im asking for anyhting mentioned above - difficulty, hull, whatever - just something to give some kind of indication of what your up against :)
