I've been playing your game for only a little while now but theese are things i beleave need to be fixxed/modifide before you should even think about releasing.
first off the interface
its functional but not an easy to use system and it looks like something from the early 90's. in station i beleave you have all the basics needed, but out side you need some work. first off you need a toggle key for mouse cursor so you can do things like open cargo click and drag the junk out of it select a chat channel ie. guild/channel 100 and so on. there are alot more things i'm sure have and will be suggested.
next the fighting autoaim needs work or just removed it misses so much more then it should and i know i missed because it aimed somewhere other then where i was shooting and lost the shots. and sheilds OMG you really need theese badly if your typeing to type to some1 and get attacked you get owned because you cant even get out of chat fast enough to start evading. the hole reason for MMO's is that its not just you so you need to be able to chat even in a hostle zone, and sheilds give you that extra amount of time to kill the chat and get your a** moving.
not to mention i hate having to go repair my ship every 4-5 kills. the sheilds allow for longer play time and more fun witch is why we are all here(i hope). the game play itself is great i have been missing the real space aiming that came with descent and all the old school space games.
cargo ok guys we gotta talk about this, a fighter has 3 cargo spaces i understand less room on a fighter sure but come on. what do you want us to do kill 2 bots turn around and goto a station. if so im sorry, that doesnt make me happy, dont know about the rest of you guys. and not being able to space the stuff you know is worthless for something that probly will give you alot more money is needed.
ahh yes 1 more thing your lvl 4/3/-/- advanced training missions are how shall i put it IMPOSSIBLE because you get ganged everytime you goto one of those sectors.
now the things i lke so that i dont get labled "greifer" =P
i like the combat itself great best ive seen in a while
i like the skill system i always hated working on things just to turn around and spend those points somewhere else or worse wait 6days for something to lvl while you arent even there.
i like the ingame graphics not the displays but the graphics themselves are good
