Logging out, and missions
While I appreciate the ease of logging out (hitting escape in a station), it would be nice if it would either a) remember your mission status, or b) give a confirmation dialog before logging you out when you're on a mission.
I accidentally logged out twice, cancelling the mission I was working on (namely, hunting controllers).

At some point, they said that certain missions would be kept if you logged out, but others are explicitly cancelled. Not sure which ones, or why, but the issue has come up before.
Most missions get cancelled. The only one that gets kept AFAIK is the prospecting mission. It makes sense in most cases. When someone gives you a trade mission they want their goods delivered now, not in 2 weeks or whenever you feel like it.
The combat training missions might be better if they were persistant though.

That's funny, hitting esc in a station does the same as 'leave station' button...
weird.
I think prospecting missions stay put until you abort them.
Combat missions would be easier if they persisted, but not necessarily better. Everything is possible though.

I'll mess with that when I get home from work. Maybe I'll have to post in the bug forum. :)
I still think that when you go to log out, it should give a confirm window if it would cancel a mission.

It'd be nice if the combat training persisted over logout. It's annoying to have to logout for 30 seconds and lose my 1000xp bonuses. :(
That was functionally where I was having trouble; I got logged out inadvertantly (which may well have been a bug; I'm going to play with that later) and had to start over combat training a few times.
