Chat-commands should need shift
I suggest to use shift-g (G) instead of g for guild chat. The same applies to t for sector chat. If you happen to hit g or t or whatever during a fight, you are dead in notime.
Have you checked your wgaf.cfg file for them? I think you can change them there, if not within the game's menus. There are a lot of default keys which I think are questionable or awkward, but hey at least you have the option of changing them. When all else fails, wgaf.cfg it!
Last I checked (1.0.4), g was group, G was guild, t was sector and T was channel...
I know I can change them and I did. I just think the _default_ should need shift for all chat commands.
Why? I've never had that particular problem... As a matter of fact, the only "Shift" suggestion I would make is that WASD be bound the same regardless of capitalization by default.
rog, that'd be a bad idea. Even though it would mean people would still be able to move if they hit capslock, they would be far less likely to see what they had done, and when only some things went wrong they would assume it was a bug without thinking about their capslock. If someone wants to bind WASD they can easily go into their Options menu and do it. That way if they do hit their capslock they hopefully won't instantly blame the game/devs.
Just a hopefully helpful hint but, I have F5 through F8 bound to the various chats. Works great for me.
