Petition for a wormhole from Dau to Itan. Kinda like a short cut.

Or maybe Wormholes connecting all the "main" sectors/systems together.

Nay I say!! Why should Itani have direct acces to Dau when Serco would still have to travel a very long and arduous route? It's only 2 sectors shorter from SolII to Dau than Itan to Dau.

Maybe Artana and Nyrius. But Itan and Dau would give Serco scum DIRECT access to the Itani homeworld, since most of them are allowed in Dau.
I'd think a connection between Cantus and Itan and another connection between Setalli Shinas and Divina would be more useful. Anything to shorten that insanely long boring itani "loop"
Basically, I vote "Aye."
If I had a choice, I would rather there were direct connections between Dau and Itan, and another between Geira Rutilus and Arta Caelestis...

connectiog ANY homeworld to a system not of the same nation is a bad idea IMO.
I ask there be Wormholes from Sol II to Itan, Itan to Dau, and Dau to Sol II, *on the condition* that they are:
1) not marked on the map
2) Not marked on HUD
3) once found AND used, they are marked on HUD for player only.

Would someone like to give an explanation as to just why you think that Itani deserve a short cut of such magnitude. *MAYBE* direct access from Itan to Artana Aquilus or Jallik but not a direct pipe to Dau unless Serco also get a direct pipe into Dau. Fair is fair.
And forget the hidden pipes. They would stay a secret for about 10 seconds after they were introduced.

I just want one from Deneb to Jallik

Paedric...Sorry to arouse possibly bad feelings. My choice of short-cuts was only
based on "geography" not on strategy or politics. Just looking for good paths
between the long stretch of the Itani nation and the rest of the universe. What is
the advantage of a "direct pipe" to Dau anyway?
P.S. As I've stated elsewhere in these pages, I would be just as happy if the Devs
took out a few of the Itani systems anyway. It's too darn BIG.

Nay, it does not fit the story.
I really hate to burst anyone's bubbles but this petition is pointless...

Sorry, not really upset RattMann. Little role-playing thrown in. Try it out, everyone is doing it. :-Þ
Anyway.... That "shortcut" would give Itani traders an unfair advantage by cutting travel time in half to points south while Serco traders would still have to circumnavigate half the known universe to get to the neutral sectors.
From a militaristic point of view, the pipe into Dau might be used to flank advancing Serco warships trying to protect our glorious frontier from Itani treachery.
Nay Nay Nay.
