I suggest that the loading screen, allthough nice, could be replace with our new and spicy galactic map.

An indication as to what system the player is in would be nice, but that's a typical post-release thing as it has no impact on anything.

I like i like.... and there could be random GTS symbols in it as well. Could look very cool.

Yes. Because that's what it's going to be compared to in the reviews. Plus, this idea makes perfect sense. If it worked in another game, or didn't work in another game, it warrants comment and discussion.

No, this game won't be EnB II. Nor will it be Eve the third genesis. Nor will it be Freelancer II. However all of those have some really great features.

it'd be nice in any game. I wouldn't mind if the loading screen were possibly:
your character info
sector userlist (and botlist)

For people with fast connections, what the loading screen is is pretty irrelevant. Sometimes I hardly have time to read the tips! (when warping to an empty sector). But for those jumps that take a full minute... nice to have something to mull over.

I suggested something like this a while ago - my suggestion was random (or semi-random, based on who the sector belongs to) images, instead of current grid-planet one. Something atmospheric, similar to the image we see on top of this website.
