Nation Chat Redux Idea
As It Was Defined:
"Long Range Chat (only available in stations, covers the entire territory of the current faction, very rate limited)" -3.5 Beta Newspost
As It Is Now:
A player on nation X can currently receive teamchat messages from anywhere in the galaxy, and can send these messages from any station in the galaxy, even those of an enemy nation.
My Plan:
Make Incarnate's definition reality. If you are (example) an Itani, if you go to Sol II SkyCommand, and use Long Range chat, you will not send messages to Itani, but infact the Serco. You will also read Serco team chat. If you are in one of the small corporation/company territories, Long Range chat will send to the respective company's territories only.
My Reasoning:
Why would Itani or Serco have communications satellites in the other's territory that would survive longer than five minutes? (I don't want any RP crap in response to this) I think that sums it up well enough.

I'd call this less a suggestion and more a bug report.
How is that a bug report? It was all explained to me ingame and I think it's a hell of a good idea. As I mentioned ingame, "...and if ever a war would break out, it would add the element of 'espionage' to the game."
If war were to break out surely all sensitive transmissions would be encrypted.....
It's a bug report because something ingame is not as it was described in the Original Plan.
