"Make it so"-button
How about a button (or just use Activate?) that jumps to the pre-set coordinates from the nav screen?
Activating to dock would not be broken because you have to be WELL within 3000m of the station to do so, and I belive the wormholes also count as a "large object" so that dosn't break either.
I'd like to be able to plot my next jump and then be able to make that jump without having to go back to the nav screen.

I'd like to have a hotkey for it, but not the Enter key. I sometimes hit enter while approaching a station or wormhole before the prompt and it could get annoying.
Yeah, I suggested this also. Magus, what could be annoying about it? Even if you're near a wormhole or station you'll be less than 3000m away from safe distance. And at the very least you'll still be required to plot a course before warp drive, so it's not like you'll acidentally send yourself off somewhere else (if by chance you do somehow do manage to accidentally hit the activate key 3000m away from a station by however means possible).
We already have tons of keys to map as it is. Do you want a separate one for docking also? The activate key would be a perfect shortcut. It makes sense since it's also used to jump system wormholes. Vendetta's controls need help being more simplified and convenient, not complicated with more binds to worry about. A cleaner interface will help in that area later on also (hopefully).

Yes, activate would be perfect; it couldn't be confused with wh activation because the wh counts as a large object. Since you must be 2000m or less from the center to system jump, you can't be 3000m from a large object.
uhmm, I dunno but it seems to me that wormholes ARENT large objects, Ive done about face loops near them to avoid the larger asteroid belts towards the center and they dont effect me. I'd suggest positioning a large object within the 3000m though.
Yea. The wormholes definitely are not large objects. I have been less than 1km from one and had a "nearest large object: 2km" on the bottom of my screen. If they were large objects though, fine by me.
They are currently seen by the game as large objects. Notice as you get close to a wormhole the number goes down and is no longer green. The reason it's sometimes delayed is because it's using the center of the wormhole as the reference point for distance. In any case that still doesn't hinder the way the activate key would work.
Ayuh, the center of the wormhole is the large object. Wormholes range in size from 1km to 2km, so your milage may vary. :D
I concur, I would like to see the activate key trigger the jump, and I see no difficulty with docking or wormholes. Though there could be a programing issue we are unaware of.
