Price Catalogue
Well, this is an idea that I was toying with.
okay, we have theese marvellous computers, so how come they don't do the obvious things that computers work with around here? That is, keep track of expenses.
a) When you dock with a station, the pricetags are loaded to your display. Your local computer stores this.
b) when you buy cargo, the buying price is stored along with the cargo units.
c) When you are in a station, you can check a "comparative pricelist" for a piece of cargo, and get the -last seen- prices for a piece. This means that if You saw it in s7119 three weeks ago, your prices are not up-to-date, and will not reflect reality.
This helps "shortterm" trading, and will completely mislead longterm trading, however, they give players a far easier way to "get the hang of" how things stay together.

Agreed, that would be nice. I've been doing it with good old fashioned pen and paper... :P
