Radar types..
Ok, with the new universe added to the game, besides having a red dot show up on radar if the person is in opposite nation you are. If the ability to kill someone in your own nation is implemented, then I have one of the 2 ideas:
1. Have Serco show up as Red, Itani show up as Blue, and NT show up as Yellow on the radar and the bots can be White on radar.
2. We could have some kind of a complicated PvP system. If one person kills any of the following:
* A pilot's combat level is level 2 or below.
* Any cargo ship(Prometheus, Marauder, Atlas, EC-XX).
* Anyone with 0 score(of course this varible has a purpose in the game to tell if someone PvPed or not but should be hidden).
Then he should appear as red on the radar.. Bots or any NPC ships from a sub nation with a hostile standing that the player has should be Red on radar also.
If the player has not PKed anyone then he should be shown as white on radar.
If there is an NPC in a nation the player has friendly standings with, then they show up as green.
Guild Mates are shown as Cyan on radar.
They might be a bad idea but this is worth a shot.
You might think that a friendly fire from a pilot the same nation you are is dangerous, but it happens all the time in some space trading games.
