Ok everyone. If you see anything in any sector that just doesn't work well, post it here. As you probably know, the sectors are randomly generated. I most certainly haven't been able to visit them all.
Examples of things I'm looking for:
- Sector has WAY too many asteroids and has a terrible framerate as a result. (compare to previous versions - if you've always gotten a terrible framerate, it doesn't count.)
- Background planet looks hideous from a particular angle
- Scene lighting looks somehow wrong
- Anything else that looks like the product of a random number generator gone awry
Be sure to list the system as well as sector coordinates.
Also, I will generally be decreasing the sizes of most sectors (less space between asteroids), and adjusting bots so that they don't fly as far out. So no need to report either of those.

One of the skyboxes had no stars. I'll go find it and report it once I do (although it might take awhile...)
Heres one for you. Most sectors are full of nothing. No bots, no roids, not stations, and no other players.
Particularly interesting is that Sector 1, Sol II A-1, is entirely empty. That should be, like cool.
But all the sectors need beefing up. The stations are small, the roids are few, and the bots are far apart.

roids are few is currently a good thing (considering you have to get 3000 m away from them)
a roid "cluster" wouldn't be all that bad though

Derelict ships in the empty sectors would be cool. Have them spawn once a week per system with a few random cargo floating nearby.
For the derelict just spawn an asteroid with one of the player ship models instead of the rock, and a few random widgets.
This way there's a purpose to all that empty space, and you even get a new player class - the 'raven' or 'scavenger'.

It's just.. SO empty. The uiverse map has this big hole in the middle of it and all. Out of the 7000+ sectors there is like what? under 100 stations?
I know space is empty and all, but that big middle space should have a few sectors or something, sorta spread out and all, i'll try and draw something up for fun.
More wormholes!! there is 2 wormholes per sector. I would really, really like to see more ways to get places.

Too many kinds of cargo
and they all look the same

There's not as many sectors as they said, since each system has at least 1 sector that's not really there because it's the sun. Some, like Helios, have 10 or so.
One of the sectors with a station (somewhere in the upper Itani region) had a *really* bright sun... I'll look for it later, after I get back from driving school...
Oh yeah, and more wormholes would be nice. Shortcuts through the center of the universe... Itani and Serco to NT and neutral, and maybe even an Itani-Serco wormhole. Think of the border skirmishes!

Dau i-6 : the sun appears to be in the rings of the planet, placed slightly in front of the planet. The result? a tiny sun sits in front of this huge ass planet. Pic soon.
Sector d-11 in system 21 (ithaca) has a LOT of roids. It dropped my framerate from 40+ to 20.
I've always wanted to see asteroids orbit around objects. I know there was this old thing going on called the oddity or something, but I don't think any of us had had the chance to experience. Can we just see some sectors with asteroids that orbit rather than just spin? I know some people may say it's pointless or whatever, but then again you'd have to question why bother making the asteroids spin to begin with? Because it looks cool!
ahh sector G-11 Dau system. there is a sun right smack dab in the middle of the Gas giant. I will check neighboring sectors to see if this remains true.
planet that has a small sun poking through it at Ionata E-11

Dau E-7 and Dau G-5 are both entirely empty. And F-5. And P-1. And most of the other sectors in Dau. Can you at least put in some roids and bots?
Most of space is empty. That's just the way it is. I don't think making every sector one massive asteroid field is the answer... but it might be the only one at this point.
Well, they should put something in. I warped into Dau E-7 and it was like... woah... hmm... look at radar, nope, nothing there... look around, nope, nothing there... It's quite boring in some of these places.
those sectors are the perfect place to base "science" missions.
eg
"we wish to test out this new engine component. Please take it to sector really empty, there will be a monitoring ship there. Locate the monitoring ship and release the prototype into space within 1k of the monitoring ship.
A gentle warning. DO NOT release the prototype anywhere else. Doing so could cause it to turn back randomly without the control field from the monitor. We are not responsible for any damage your ship takes as a result of releasing the prototype anywhere else."

I was going to beef about Sedina System but I have, instead, decided to re-name it the "Goofy Grape" System :-)
