I don't know about anyone else but I find this new version rather annoying with all the sectors. I think the devs should bring back CTF (capture the flag). Even though there was station nuking and little skill involved, it was fun. I am just wondering who else is behind me on this subject.

uhh, Mastercheif, CTF wouldn't work that well in this universe. Plus it was never intended to remain permanently since Nations are expected to reduce in value.

Well I am talking about bringing back the old 18 sectors. CTF the flag in 7000 sector would be stupid and take forever. It would be to easy to shake an enemy.

Durgia...it would be so fscking easy!!! The person with the flag could just go to some obtuse sector and wait for his buddies, warp in, warpout to some obtuse sector, and then take the long way home, all while the enemy can't catch you because they can't talk with eachother for shi*.

i think a form of capture the flag should come back...

maybe 1 flag and its put randomly in space some where...

then you get messages saying "flag is in "someplace" I-5". everytime the person who has the flag jumps the flag broadcasts another messages saying "flag is in "someotherplace" d-10"

...

also having one flag, would make it more exsiting... imagine 3 nations going after one flag... instead of caping each other.


then the flag can be sold to any of your nation controlled sectors for a price. then the flag is randomly placed somewhere else.

They wont do that, but maybe a special vendetta space quake version, just an other server with the old 18 sectors with ctf etc etc.

What is it with you people and 18 sector CTF?!? It was a heck of a lot better back when there were 9 sectors...

RelayeR offers Bractus System: sectors k3 through k12 for use for CTF and jettisons a worthless widget there as the flag.
