I was reading one of those off topic threads (Milwaukee Sayings) and I came across rummage sale! Why don't we have a rummage sale? We can hold it every week on Saturday, don't know the exact time yet, this is basic idea. Every week on Saturday, people come to s9 with their junk (scrap, components, etc.) and we have a big trade market/bazaar. There would be no pirate attacks because that would be rude. If trading stuff wasn't enough we could have mine shows and "Gladiator Duels", give people buses and let 'em go! I think this would VERY much develop the game and its community. It'd help the players and make the game much more dynamic, and we could turnit into a tradition for those n00bies who will be coming in ... Soon(tm).

Let's have it in the NT home sector; atleast it would take care of 2/3th of the problem...

MonkRX, they can only kill 2/3 of everyone (assuming equal numbers of ships from all nations attend) unless FF is enabled.

NT homesector is bad because some people are locked out. While this would be a huge day for pirates, it would be an even bigger day for pirate hunters *cough* *INM* *cough*. I myself would most definately do my best to try to protect the traders, I my not be the best pilot but I could be of some help. Please post any suggestions and say "AYE" if you like the idea.
