I don't know if the idea has been posted yet but just a single button for rearming all you weapons would be nice. It could be combined with repair, but when you have to pay for that you could split them up.

Harmless Trader

The station system is pretty much functional at the moment. It'll get redone so it's actually nice, and convenient, instead of simply functional, but until it gets fully redone pieces like this will probably stay as is.

hehe. recently I found out how to use the shortcut keys for the station (you notice how Eldrad undocks almost immediately after he docks? that's r + ESC. it used to take me a while to select tab, select repair, hit repair, and then hit exit station...)

/me likes those keys. makes buying and selling nice and easy too

But, no matter how you do it, buying ammo takes awhile, whether you buy en mass, or individually, while that IS a pain, its functional.

That is one of the disadvantages of using ammo.

Ahhh yeah, if anything ammo should take longer to buy and load up.

but even when fully outfitting a rag, all I do is click on the individual slots while holding down b. it's really fast

Right now the time it takes to load up any ammo weapons is totally dependent on lag. If you've got a crap connection it'll take half a second to load each round. If you've got a good connection it's almost instant. There's no delay placed in it, if that's what's being implied. If you don't want to hold the buy shortcut key down, just buy them in quantity.

thanks Arolte. I used to buy the ammo in quantity, but since my connection is fast (avg. ping is about 32) I just hold the button down, loading ammo almost instantaneously.

On a good day my connection is about 120+. But if there are shortcuts it would help. It would help if someone posted all of them in one neat topic. And also a topic with the commands you can use in the console.

all the commands were on the manual page... (I think) but that appears to have disappeared probably due to the fact that it took the devs a longer to update it than it took for it to go out of date. If you just want a list type "/print 2" then open your log file to see the commands (note: 2 might not be the right arg, try 1, 0, or 3 if it doesn't look right)

As for short cut keys they are the letters that are underlined.
Examples:
in "Repair" in the repair tab the 'R' is underlined
or the "Unload All" has the 'a' in 'Unload' underlined (in the cargo tab)
