i think a great thing would be to have nations "control" stations.
the more "respect" the citizens of that gov the more the gov controlds the station.

Yes, it has been said. I'm sure the developers are aware of the community interest, but since that's not one of the top 5 requests (and actually in my opinion one of the better and more interesting requests) it doesn't hurt to mention it from time to time.

As you can see though, most of the 'old timers' on the board have discussed everything three times (or more) and so aren't usually up to debating implementation details and the merits of the suggestion.
