Ice roids appearance
I hope this is a new thing. Maybe it's more something for the bugs section:
The effect on the ice roids only changes when you move your look_at vector, not when you move your position which should be the determining parameter for the effect.

They appear very different on different graphics cars, DirectX/OpenGL, and whatever. It just seems to be the standard enviromental mapping, so it depends how the OpenGL/DirectX function draws this effect on which craphics card.
I hope this is right, but to me it looks like that ;-)

Yes, the reflection mapping isn't mathematically correct.
I just use the camera orientation and not the position. Using the position is a little bit slower for older computers. I think the OpenGL version actually uses the position though. I forget.
