Force more Teamplay!!
Hello!
I always have to go away from others so I can ensure to get the drone hunting bonus! That forces players to play for their own! When I hit a drone sometimes and someone else does the last shot, it says:
someone else destroyed drone X.
And I don't gain any experience at all... that's boring and unfair!
My suggestion: If anyone hits a bot just once and it is destroyed then, everyone who do a hit should get at least 50% of the experience automatically! (even if 5 ppl kill it). And when teamed up, it should bring 60%-80% of the exp. it does bring, when destroyed alone.
And there should be the message, when AA and BB destroy a drone:
AA helped to destroy Drone I X1
BB helped to destroy Drone I X1
Sure you can vary the exp on damage done by everyone, so if a drone needs 10 hits, and one hits 6 and two others 2 times each, the one with 6 hits gets 60-70% (or when grouped 70-85%) and the other ones each 20-25% (or 25-30% when grouped)
That would force players to destroy bots in teams, because everyone benefits from it, instead of force players to go it's very own way!
Btw, that's one of the main features that makes Clanlord so exciting, even everything else is not well done in that game.
I am sure that would bring much much more fun to the gameplay. I know there is the possibility to form groups, but strangly nobody wants to build them. I think this is because it does not really help everyone in that group.

We had actually discussed this right before releasing 3.4.0, and had concluded that we should probably do it. The implementation seems to have fallen by the wayside for now but I'm pretty sure we're going to do something very much like this (definitely for high level bots, maybe for drones)
I totally agree, and when we see frigates, corvettes, heavy gunships, and battlecruisers, it will be dumb to give the lucky player that huge bonus

And Someone Else gets +5000/+7500/+7500, just for shooting the last tachyon bolt at the last minute! :P
A quick fix to this is share any bonus gained throughout a group.

This great! When we build groups and do group missions we already get benefits. But the problem is, it is hard to find ppl joining (many do not know this, or think this is crap) or it is a little complicated. For example when having a group mission running, noone can join. We have to stop the mission, get the new players on board, fly back to the station to get the mission again, etc.
That makes it even harder to use teamplay! In Clanlord it is done with sharing. You can share with anyone (max. 5 shares per person) and the guy you share with gets 10% of your exp extra. that works always. I don't say it should be excactly that way, but it could be a little more easier to form groups and to join them on their existing mission, etc. (maybe single player missions should be the same as group missions?) or at least when not in group the lucky hitter gets the same exp as the unlucky one :-)
But when found someone to form a group it's much more fun and brings more exp!
And another thing would be fine: A pointer maybe in another color, that always points to your group members, not only if you select one of them as target.

Great idea; experience based on damage done, and a little extra bonus for the lucky guy who got the killshot.
Suggestion for when we get huge capships etc: make them modularised, for example, to be able to hit them with the torpedos, you first have to fly in with small fighters to disable the shield generators and defense turrets, but in order to do that you have to find a way of stopping those waves of defense craft flying out of the ship, which means flying in with medium bombers, close in on the hangar doors and launching the torpedoes at the last minute, pulling up to clear yourself from the blast (and from hitting the ship)... Then you can reward ppl not only for the "big kill", but also for the specific subgoals: disabled X hangar doors, knocked out Y shield generators, destroyed Z defense turrets, ...

Hm, I wouldn't give the lucky guy something extra.. so everyone wants to be that and who's not in luck feels unfair treated.
I would say: Exp. by damage done + some team bonus, so if 5 people destroy a ship they can get up to 300% of the original Exp.
or: EVERYONE gets 50% of the destroyed ship, who did a hit. So if 5 destroy one they'll get 250% of the whole exp.
And with sharing on, between them (in group or another way) everyone gets 60%, so 300% of the normal single player stuff.
