Boost look for Joys
i have just noticed this but why can a mouse user look around when boosting burt not joys...
you can but you must first switch to mouse mode (default key is ; ) although personaly i like not being able to look around, makes it so you have to rely on radar and eventualy you get very good with it.
because of the way they have the mouse control set up. since a mouse cannot provide a constant input in any direction except by being moved across a surface, the view doesnt remain with the ship.
if you want to look around find out what your mouselook toggle is (";" by default i believe) and tap it while boosting to turn your mouselook on. you have to tap it again to return to joystick control tho.
on the other hand, with a joystick you dont get that annoying "wobble" problem that mouseusers have as their ship facing attempts to align with the direction they are looking in.

Also, you roll faster in joystick mode.
Hunter Alpha... you can roll faster in mlook... use both +roll, and +rotateCCW, and your camera will rotate faster, the ship will constantly try to keep up with the camera, so if you're rolling too fast the camera may get over 180° ahead in which case the ship will turn the other direction.
