Guild storage for guild members
I would like that the guild storage be added to the game, so that the members can add whatever parts they want their guild members to use as well. With overall control given to the commander of the guild as to who can withdraw from the guild storage. Storage costs to be deducted from the guild bank.
Also, the ability to use the guild storage to transfer ownership of a trident or goli from one player to another, with the approval of the guild commander, with the caveat, that only the original owner can change the name of the trident or goli. Not even the commander should be able to change the name.

I like the idea of shared guild storage, I think we've talked about that before, although there are some details to be determined on how it would work exactly.
I'm not sure how I feel about shared guild-based capships (which is really a separate idea, tbh). Capships are a generalized endgame goal, I don't really want to make features of them exclusive to guilds (like ease-of-transfer).
Sharing them also kind of devalues their exclusivity to a certain extent. I mean, we already have a key system for some forms of access and sharing; if we were to do capship-sharing (which I'm not sure about), it would be more appropriate to use the existing key mechanic.
Anyway, for now, let's just focus on generalized shared guild storage? I think that's a more appropriate usage for this thread.

I love the idea but coming up with a way to implement it that "makes sense" isn't straightforward.
Since we're already throwing shit at the wall here... Shared inventories could exist as a pool with zero access controls (beyond guild membership), given that sharing inventories gives a pretty large advantage to the parties involved it shouldn't be any different than station rent where the pool's size goes up with "rent" failure to cough up the dough would prevent withdrawals/deposits. (cue the inevitable whining that will arise when a guild wants to liquidate their assets to pay for missed rent.)
Putting a warning on using the pool similar to putting station on a user key should also be in place. "If you put your stuff in here and the guild boots you and/or ceases to exist you'll lose access"
On the subject of transferring capships there's already that long-ass mission string that reimburses everything but the reactor and titles can be stripped from capships and re-applied... despite the fact that it's a pain in the ass it's not impossible.
Given the added utility of shared inventories it'd limit them to 200cu of free access and go up to say... 10,000cu at the other end of the spectrum for say... ten million a week on a linear scale. (guild banks could use cash sinks and shared inventories seem like a good place to start)
I can forsee issues with people using the shared storage to circumvent their own station rent imposed limitations (particularly those that play on a lite/freemium sub those fuckin' crystals aren't cheap!) that could impart undue burden on the folks running the guild but that's a problem that's relatively easy to deal with the "/guild expel" command... hehehe!
Guild inventories could also strip license requirement for ships'n'addons essentially letting newbs fast-track access to fancy stuff through other guild members. (hence why I went with 200cu of free shared storage instead of 300 if you wanna kit your newbs out with XC's and BHM2's coughing up a million creds for the week is a pretty small price to pay)
