Mouse sensitivity demultiplier/divider in menus (low priority)

TL;DR: title :P

A multiplier|demultiplier slider with a 0~10 range in the mouse options under control to reduce the sensitivity in menus, more often than not I find the mouse behaving at a comfortable speed ingame (moving the camera/aimdir) but to be much too fast in menus.

low priority because it's just a little QoL thing and the game's got shortcuts/hotkeys out the wazoo to make up for it, however on my crusty old Ivy bridge rig the disparity in sensitivity between the hud/station menus can make it easy to miss smaller UI elements when the shitty iGFX chip runs slow (<45fps) with the station in the background.

Only worth considering if it's something that can be implemented in no more than an hour without additional headaches.

cheers.

Huh. Well, no opposition from me in principle.

I'm in favor of anything that generically gives an improved and polished User Experience.

We'll need to examine the mechanics involved and what kind of system might work.

At one time, integrated chips had the station-rendering default to disabled in favor of the static-background screenshot, like mobile does. But, that default might not be the case with like.. post-DX11 iGPUs (where some of the modern ones are actually quite good). It does improve the framerate in the UI, anyway.

Yeah less of a hasstle of I just turn off station rendering whilst in menus; it does have a tiby impact on gameplay. outside of station camping smaller stations (that don't have an appreciable impact on framerate anyway) it's kinda moot.

I know this is slightly off topic but does the station rendering setting apply to when menus are open in space? I get lag on my iGPU system when I open menus in general, not just stations.
