New player here, very fun game so far.
There is a beep sound heard when enemy is hit, sounds like a Windows bios beep or that noise you hear when pressing too many keys on the keyboard? Eitherway, could it be possible to turn this off in options? Or even change the sound to something less jarring? The hit confirmation is a great feature, just an awful sound while flying in space :)

There is a plugin called deboop that allows you to change the sound. Though it would be nice if there were a few options built into the game.

Unfortunately, I don't have access to the installation directory. For security reasons Android OS 13+ doesn't allow access to certain folders.

If you can get five minutes time on a friend/relative/school/library PC or laptop then you can plug your phone in by USB and that gives you access to the files via the PC/laptop.

You can have them downloaded and unzipped on your phone beforehand so it really does only take a minute or two.

That all being said, I think it's reasonable to add a setting for it.

I'm kinda surprised there isn't already a setting for it. But, such is the.. ever-growing Backlog of Stuff.

If it's not much more work give it a volume slider instead of a toggle.
