Quick'n'dirty -Extreem drain buff/changes
Currently limited to one per player through some obscure mission that's forgotten about in the at the ass end of a mission tree with more branches than I can be bothered to remember.
Oughta be made manufacturable at one of the conq stations with ludicrous requirements to prevent it from bring mass produced like the IHDPC.
It's stats however need a rework as it can currently only fit one blaster and despite the stellar regeneration rate of 52 is made lackluster for travel due to it's capacity of 500 units thusly I figure it oughta be made unique by turning it into the ultimate travel/racing powercell.
Capacity 500 > 150
Grid 4 > 6

Just a thought. If the capacity is changed from 500 to 150, it wouldn't be a drain cell any more, instead it would be a super charge cell(Extreem Charge?). The naming thing with the cells seems to have drain in it for things with loads of capacity. And charge in it for things with lower capacity and higher charge.
The current gird is 5, which should be enough for both a weapon and an addon.
How about the cell remains as is as a reward for those who do that mission tree (which is a giant pain in the neck). And your new stats form the basis as a new racing cell that can be manued at one of the tech focused sub factions.

Thing is I can't think of any utility for the current cell.
Giving it 8 grid would be another way to give it some utility.
A real "extreme drain" cell oughta have 1000 capacity and something like 35 regen but at that point it's a little silly for it to be extremely rare because it's most viable use case becomes a shield buster on the hornet/ragnarok both ships are extremely vulnerable to light fighters so the cells rarity wouldn't really jive well with that, rags and hornets blow up pretty easily specially when they're fitted with a cell that would suck for running.
Extreem drain cell with 52 regen and 150 cap would still drain really fast firing weapons or on a spaceboat with 60 drain and given the rarity it oughta be a cell that shines at running away.

I'm against this simply because it would make the greyhound even more ridiculous as a chasing ship than it already is. You could throw a lawneut on it and be able to make up for the loss in DPS in insane regeneration. You'd also be damn near uncatchable (more than the hound already is!). You'd never get away from the damn thing, and it'd overmatch you on jumps, too.
Myeah, not to mention the fast charge already only takes a second to jump between sectors and about 3 seconds to charge enough to turbo out 3k away to jump.
In light of your comment and for the sake of making something that's actually different than just another fast charge on steroids how's about this:
24 grid
1000 capacity
38 regen
2500kg mass
that way we'll finally have a proper *heavy* powercell, something that might even give an alternative to deshield capships to the spamrag.
That said if it gets implemented with these stats it shouldn't be much harder to build than a TU because any spaceboat using it would be extremely vulnerable to getting chased down by practically anything especially something with a pcb.

I'd like something like that, a power cell where its weight is a tradeoff, vs barely being a consideration as it currently is.
