activity requirment for active guild officers
I propose to keep guilds from dying that activity allows promotion in guilds. We should have a minimum activity threshold for commanders especially and LT's as well and more active members get promoted after a period of time. This suggestion keeps vo more active and changing as people come and go and creates more fun player interactions.
There's already a system for promoting a new commander. The council are supposed to be the ones that promote a new commander. The council are also the ones required to make sure the guild doesn't die. If the council aren't around to promote a new commander, then perhaps there's a different issue that needs to be addressed.
If the main concern is the commander and commanders are demoted after a period of inactivity so someone else can take the position, then what's the purpose of the council. Perhaps the structure of guilds should be re-evaluated as a whole, rather than just trying to address one piece of the puzzle.

I think this would do a lot to increase game activity! +1
Just do a council vote. Or start a new guild if you're lonely.
just let the inactive guilds die their own good death?
I do not see why and how member could take over council seats for inactivity.
There is something missing here: Just being online is not being an active member of a guild;
An active member is someone who dedicates his RP to the goals, spirit and values of a guild.
And there is no way to appreciate by SW the dedication and activity of said members.

-1. negative, ghostrider.
translation: let me seize control of a legacy guild and attempt to harness their reputation.

-1. Unnecessary.
-1 this is a inter-guild suggestion not a forum suggestion
-1 this is just an atempt to promote himself via the back door
