The Devus Trapper is a large drone covered in open conduit cables. This stalking drone slowly drifts toward threats while trying to remain inoccuous, but once in range the multiple powercell banks in its frame light up the conduits, releasing streams of electricity. It is, in effect, a modified lightning mine in a large and heavy encasement, complete with miniature drone core and small manuevering thrusters. It excels in ambushing targes in locations that neccessitate close quarters combat, such as minor derelicts and other chance spawns. For its visual design, I always think of an inflated, aggressive pufferfish; it is dangerous at every end.

While this hive drone is dangerous to unprepared pilots, due to its slow nature and delicate components it will be swiftly destroyed by any skilled pilot hunting the hive. As such, they are often found with an assault or two nearby. Additionally, it avoids chasing targets through open space where its poor manueverability would hamper its effectiveness; it will try to remain inside of an asteroid or debris field, and actively avoids sightlines of targets out in open space so as to better ambush them.

We don't need any more NPCs with PCBs. There's too many already.

It's both thematic to the style of bot, and it has its unique behavior that changes it from the standard pcb fighters. That being said, i'm not too attached to it having that.
