I might be in the minority here, but I have /+ActivateTurrets bound to a joystick button. I suspect most folks just set it to a toggle alias and leave it on during a fight.

I do it this way because it gives much better control over what I'm firing at and when. It's easier to not accidentally hit friendlies or waste powercell shooting at nothing this way.

The unfortunate downside here is that chat becomes almost useless, spammed with:

There's already a HUD indicator for it, and the other things with HUD indicators have a way to turn off the message spam (Flight-Assist and Auto-Aim). Can you add a similar switch to this? It'd be helpful.

I've got commands to toggle turrets on gamepad too (+activateturrets and -activateturrets bound to one button with multicklick settings). Maybe there is work around like with Toggle turbo on and off notiffications.
