I propose that an addition category be added to the Enduring Title record: Who killed it.
Enduring titles are a permanent record for the capital ship. Current things the title keeps track of:
Who owned it (previous owners are listed)
Previous names
Players killed by it
Number of bots killed by it.
Profit made by it.
I propose that an addition category be added to the Enduring Title record: Who killed it.
This would be a fun record for the stats nerds among us.
Positives: More stats. People get to see their name until the end of time on the title.
Negatives: The owner of the title has to see the name of the killer until the end of the time. Might be annoying to see "Killed by: Joe(2), Blow(5), We All Float (420)".
Overall more categories mean more fun stats. I have other ideas for additional categories but I'll leave those for another thread.

Eh, I can see why someone wouldn't want that on their ship's title.
Another way to approach this might be to have ships with enduring titles drop a souvinir scrap metal with the nameplate on it if it was killed by a player. Diablo II had ears, right?

Capships already drop scrap metal when they die. Repurpose that as a collectible or "trophy" of sorts.
+1 definitely would love to see how many times my dent or Goli has died and by who. Gets hard to remember how many times they died and by who, also neet collectables hehe
