This cell would give Goliath pilots the option to turn their goli into a more combat capable craft, at the cost of cargo space, travel speed and additional risk of losing a powercell that would be worth about 7-10 mil on the player market.

I do not believe the cell capacity should be increased. If it is increased, maybe only 6000. Grid at 90 sounds good to me, nothing completely insane... Cargo space reduction seems like a good trade off. Double mass only makes it 400,000kg, which does make a small difference in acceleration of a goli, but I don't think it would be a huge one...
Good concept, especially if it's set to drop ~75% of the time on explosion.

This particular power cell could be set to require a premium sub. I don't believe that is 100% unreasonable.
Regarding combat capability I want to point out that if a trident pilot goes toe to toe with two goliaths, he doesn't stand a chance unless the goli pilots are inexperienced. If you want to make a single goliath as combat capable as a trident I still oppose the OP.
It would still not be as combat capable as the Trident because of the huge difference in shield and armor, which doesn't balance out against the increased agility. Also, the turret placements on a Trident are way better for a forward assault since they can fire 2 turrets on a target at once, while a goli would need to either turn its back on the enemy or get really close to do the same. And in either of the two cases the dent would chew up the golis shields and armor for lunch.
I don't buy the limitation on Lite subscription idea here. Lite players are already burdened by crystals, which is a major limiting factor if you're regularly in combat. Additionally, even with this powercell they still get a downgraded capship compared to the Trident. Double the charge time for jumps, 60% of the armor, way weaker shields, 50% of the cargo hold and one less turret with a worse placement. And of course they lose a pretty expensive cell if they die with this equipped, while a dent pilot gets his cap back at 500k.

not that im for or against it, but a "reduced" cargo space of 400 isnt enough to be considered a limitation, it still allows three ecs to be docked and swapped out.. making it basically what the goliath "should" already be..
try 250cu max, then it can hold a rag, cent, light combat ships etc.. or two ecs that can be swapped out. then if you overstuff your ship no one can dock as a penalty, but could still allow docking if used normally with a single ship by undocking the ship. only one ship docked at a time.
