Ever been behind a dark roid scared and alone wondering if a orun is lurking nearby? VO is kinda dark in sectors small lights on the front of ships could be useful.
Also I assume a spotlight addon could be huge fun 🤔

I agree. But, lights are a technical rendering thing, and we had some problems getting enough performance out of slower devices to add more "required" lights by default.

But, it is something we're going to examine, as we improve the Vulkan renderer.
