Mega Plasma HX Cannon
A large port version of the Plasma HX, similar to what a Mega Positron is for the Positron. For reference, I state here the differences between a Mega Positron and a regular Positron:
50% higher damage (1200 rather than 800)
+15 m/s speed (205 m/s rather than 190)
The Mega HX would have something similar with a Plasma HX:
Stats:
Damage = 800
Delay = 0.2 s
Velocity = 175 m/s
Energy per shot = 8
Grid = 4
Mass = 500 kg (higher than regular HX)
Licences to equip: 5/3/5/4/0
Achievement to purchase: 100 Hive Queen Kills
Sold only at select stations: Verasi I5, Dau G2, Bractus C5, Helios B14.

What is the usage you are expecting for this weapon? Right now its velocity is slower than a gat2 and it doesn't the aim assist, so this seems unlikely to be used for PVP. What would you use it for in PVE?
It would have the highest DPE in the game at 100, and a pretty decent DPS at 4000. It would also retain or even extend the long shot despawn time (ie, range) that the Plasma HX is known for. You could chainfire two of these and probably deshield a goli with cell to spare. I'm not sure about this, since I don't have any way to test it, but it seems logical since it would deal 8000 DPS and sustain it for 8.3 seconds before running out on a fast charge, and 16.7 seconds on an Improved High Drain. A current goli deshielding setup, chainfired dual megaposi on an IHDPC deals 9600 DPS for just over 5.3 seconds.
Basically it can deal pretty good damage and sustain fire for extended periods, ideal for use against still or slow targets.

I'm always a fan of the idea of mega weapons for any addon. This would be cool because we could deshield and kill capship from beyond their explosion range, so small ships would be less likey to die in their blasts. All the while easily dodging rails and capital cannon shots. +1
