Add a channel that nobody can post to on Discord called "suggestions". Connect an webhook that will post a link with title to this discord channel every time a brand new suggestion is made in the suggestions forum.

This will bring more attention to the suggestions forum in the player base and prompt players that are normally silent to participate and endorse suggestions they might really like to see.

It would reduce/prevent people from linking suggestions posts in your general channel which amounts to a bit of "litter" in the channel.

It also would associate a suggestion title to a link to the post which currently doesn't happen when someone links to the forum.

Greater participation in suggestions will give a stronger feel for what suggestions warrant more of your time. (this is commonly done for bugs and repository commits on many linux distros)

I think that's an interesting idea, although I'm not sure when we'll have time availability to look into it.

is this a project that you might accept user contributed code for? and if so, is there a language preference or framework you would want it to function under?

Discord also has threads, replies to a topic could show up there. Members with a verified forum username could also post directly from discord.
